Book Review - The Divorce Journal by Sue Atkins

A book to assist children deal with the emotions when parents separate and divorce

Sue Atkins is a former teacher and Deputy Head, parenting coach and is now recognised as a Parenting Expert on Disney Junior and This Morning on ITV.  The journal is aimed at children aged 7 and over as a place to share their feelings, concerns or worries about the separation of their parents and what this could mean for them. The journal is full of activities and suggestions for children who are working through their feelings and emotions.

The clear message throughout the book is that parents divorce but family is forever, an important reminder for children along with tips and suggestions for positivity and self-esteem building.

A great resource for children who may be struggling with their feelings that they can then share with their parents or give them the tools to start to work through those feelings.
